The Athletics Federation of San Marino (F.S.A.L.) was founded in 1959 and is an entity without legal personality and non-profit. The F.S.A.L. is made up of members (federal members and affiliated members) and affiliated Clubs.

Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle is a multi-purpose stadium in Serravalle, San Marino. First opened in 1969, it is currently used mostly for football matches. It is the national stadium of San Marino.
During periods where there is no national or international competition, the sports facilities are used by different athletics clubs.
